Sleep is often overlooked when people are looking for ways to get healthy and fit - but at Elect Fitness, we know just how important it is! Getting enough sleep is one of the most important parts of leading a healthy and happy lifestyle.


Getting 6-8 hours of sleep each night is essential for maintaining your physical and mental wellbeing. Research has shown that people who get enough rest experience better days in terms of their work productivity, mood, and overall physical wellbeing.

Sleep helps reduce stress and improves focus.

Getting enough sleep helps you have the energy to take on challenging tasks. Good quality sleep is also key to maintaining a healthy immune system.


Getting sufficient rest gives your body the time it needs to recover from physical exertion and regenerates the muscles.


When you don’t get enough sleep, your body doesn’t have the time to repair itself and it can lead to muscle fatigue, decreased concentration and poor physical performance. Insufficient sleep can even lead to issues such as depression, anxiety, annoyance and headaches.
